Committee on Scholarly Communication with China Program

The Committee on Scholarly Communication with China (CSCC) National Program for Research in China is for scholars in the humanities to do research in the People's Republic of China, with the exception of Hong Kong and Macau. US citizens and permanent residents are eligible to apply.
This program supports about five individuals, with a Ph.D. or equivalent, to do in-depth research on China or the Chinese portion of a comparative study. Grants are offered for four to twelve months of research in China. Applicants should demonstrate that they have fully utilized the available resources in the US and are prepared by virtue of study and planning to take full advantage of an opportunity to do research in the People's Republic of China.
This program has been made possible by a grant from the National
Endowment for the Humanities.
Award includes: monthly stipend plus travel allowances.
Tenure: four to twelve months between July 1 and December 31.
Deadline for posting completed applications: November 15.
Decisions will be announced in April.
